The Report prepared by a Committee appointed by the All-Parties Conference at Bombay on May 19, 1928 under the Chairmanship of Motilal Nehru; Nehru Committee was to determine the principles of the constitution before actually drafting it. All-Parties conference in August 1928 set its seal of approval on the Report.It was accepted by the AICC with some amendments.The All-Parties convention in Calcutta from December 22, 1928 to January 1, 1929 discussed the Report and accepted it. Immediately after the convention, Gandhiji, at the meeting of Indian National Congress,presented the resolution which welcomed the recommendations of the Nehru Committee.
